Thomas Eugene Pecaut, 80, of Perryville, passed away Saturday, Oct. 19, 2024, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
He was born January 9, 1944, in Perryville to Joseph Leo Pecaut and Frances Verline (Miederhoff) Pecaut Besand.
Thomas had worked in the auto industry. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and AmVets. He liked watching football and St. Louis Cardinal baseball. Thomas enjoyed spending time with family, especially his niece and nephew.
Survivors include his half-brother, Roger (Cindy) Besand; half-sister, Louise (Rick) Wibbenmeyer; nephew, John Wibbenmeyer, and niece, Maria Wibbenmeyer.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Darryl Pecaut. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 25, 2024, and from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024, at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville with Rev. Joe Geders C.M. officiating.
Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in Perryville. Memorial contributions may be given to St. Vincent de Paul School or Parish.
