The Bank of Missouri has completed its planned systems conversion and full operational integration of M1 Bank, effective March 20, 2026, marking the final phase of the acquisition completed in January by parent company Reliable Community Bancshares Inc. With the conversion complete, former M1 Bank locations, accounts and digital banking services are now fully operating under The Bank of Missouri name, systems and brand. The transition, including core system migration through Jack Henry, was completed on schedule.
Following the merger, The Bank of Missouri now manages approximately $4.2 billion in assets. Prior to the integration, The Bank of Missouri held approximately $3.1 billion in assets, while M1 Bank held approximately $1.14 billion. Customers of the former M1 Bank now have full access to The Bank of Missouri’s suite of banking tools, including online and mobile banking, as well as an expanded branch and ATM network.
M1 Bank employees will continue in their roles as part of The Bank of Missouri team. “We’re pleased to officially welcome M1 Bank into The Bank of Missouri experience,” said Adrian Breen, president and CEO of The Bank of Missouri. “Our focus over the last several months has been ensuring a seamless, customer- first transition. With this conversion complete, customers will benefit from enhanced digital capabilities, more locations and the same relationship-driven service they expect from a community bank.”
The transition also brings M1 Bank’s strengths in community lending into The Bank of Missouri, supporting developers and equity partners in affordable housing, historic tax credit and renewable energy initiatives. This division will operate as M1 Specialty Finance at The Bank of Missouri.
Customers should now use The Bank of Missouri online and mobile banking platforms, debit cards and routing information provided in pre-conversion communications. Former M1 Bank branches are now operating as The Bank of Missouri. Customers with questions are encouraged to contact their local branch or visit the bank’s website.
