Tamie Fluegel, 65, of Ellis Grove, Ill., passed away at 8:20 am, Thursday, May 29, 2025, at Three Springs Senior Living and Rehabilitation in Chester.
She was born to the late James and Louise (nee Rahn) Faulkner on July 15, 1959, in St. Louis.
Tamie, a United States Army veteran, had worked as a medical assistant and a home health nurse. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and was the best grandma anyone could ask for.
Survivors include Tamie’s significant other, Stephen Greer of Ellis Grove; two daughters, Alana (Jon) Mays of Chickasha, Okla., and Tera Fluegel of Perryville; and four grandchildren: Jaren, Elijah, Adam, and Ryker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Ryan Fluegel, a granddaughter, Miranda Elizabeth Pearl, and a brother, Steven Faulkner.
A graveside service took place at Ellis Grove City Cemetery in Ellis Grove at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, with Pastor Dan Ahlenius officiating.
The interment took place at Ellis Grove City Cemetery in Ellis Grove.
