Shirley Ann Blechle, 82, of Perryville passed away Monday, Nov. 23, 2020 at her residence.
She was born Aug. 28, 1938 in Perry County to Robert M. and Barbara K. (Berkbuegler) Lawrence.
She and John R. Blechle were married on Jan. 14, 1956 at Christ the Savior Catholic Church in Brewer and passed away on Feb. 3, 2019.
Shirley was a former member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Mary. She was a member of Confraternity of Christian Mothers and Lifelong member of Ste. Genevieve ARC. Shirley was homemaker in her early years of marriage, then she worked at Prince Gardner in St. Mary making leather billfolds. She then worked at M & M Meats in Perryville making pizza. Lastly Shirley worked in the cafeteria at St. Vincent de Paul Elementary School, Perryville. Shirley loved her family, taking care of their farm, being outdoors, reading and most of all staying true to her faith.
Survivors include two daughters and One Son Katherine M. Blechle of Perryville, Vickie L. (Bernard) Hoernig of Perryville, Bernard R. (Peggy) Blechle of St. Mary, one sister, Mary Ann (Rousseau) (Leo) Rellergert of Perryville; One Brother, Gary (Betty) Lawrence of Peryville; seven grandchildren, Matthew Hoernig, Cassandra (Zachary) Stobart, Gregory Hoernig, Kenton (Jennifer) Hoernig, Derrick (Kaitlyn) Blechle, Renee (Chris) Beinlein, Lauren (Kyle) Aufdenberg; Eleven Great-Grandchildren, Simon, Alia, Genevieve and Cora Stobart, Avelyn and Lydia Hoernig, Louis, Emma and Addie Blechle, Cameron and Carley Beinlein.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Son, Barry A. Blechle; daughter in infancy, Debra Sue Blechle; and Brother, Jim Lawrence .
Visitation will be from 9 am to 1 pm on Friday, Nov.r 27, 2020 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Saint Mary.
Mass will be at 1 pm Friday, Nov. 27, 2020 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Saint Mary with Rev. James Schaefer officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Saint Mary at a later date.
