Sharon found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She volunteered delivering Meals on Wheels with the Ste. Genevieve Nutrition Center and cherished her daily walks and visits with friends at McDonald’s. She had a special love for collecting angels and her treasured spun glass pieces she fondly called “her pretties.” Sharon enjoyed watching and feeding birds-especially hummingbirds-cross-stitching on her computer, and sharing laughter through her quick wit and playful teasing, particularly with the men at the nursing home.
Known for her stubborn independence and strong spirit, Sharon also had a deeply caring heart. She spent the last 12 years at Riverview Nursing Home, where she formed many meaningful friendships and was loved by residents and staff alike. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
