Sandra K. Basler, 82, of Perryville, passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at Independence Care Center in Perryville.
She was born December 28, 1943, in Crosstown to Everett A. and Idell Barbara (Bohnert) Williams.
Sandra and Richard Thomas Basler were married September 18, 1965. He preceded her in death on March 21, 2009.
She was of the Catholic faith.
Sandra was a proud graduate of St. Vincent de Paul High School. She worked at Ewald’s BBQ for over 20 years. Sandra enjoyed working in her yard and flower gardens.
Survivors include three sons, Tom (Dana) Basler, Terry Basler and Gary (Linda Sandler) Basler, all of Perryville; two sisters, Cecilia “Tootie” (Robert) Ponder of St. Ann and Diane Koenig of Florida; two grandchildren, Stephanie (Drew) Richardet and Chelsie (Montana) Giesler, both of Perryville; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Brenda (Roger) French, and brother, Ralph Williams.
Visitation was from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville.
The funeral service was at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville, with Deacon Direk Hunt officiating.
Burial was at St. James Catholic Cemetery in Crosstown.
