Ronald Lee Kutz, 75, of Perryville, peacefully passed away Sunday, July 27, 2025, at Mercy Hospital Southeast, Cape Girardeau, with his loving family at his side.
He was born February 22, 1950, in Cape Girardeau, to Flavian Louis and Rosella Theresa (Schnurbusch) Kutz.
Ron and Barbara K. (Berrong) Kutz were married December 30, 1977, in Cape Girardeau. She survives in Perryville.
He was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic faith. Ron attended high school at St. Vincent High School, class of 1968, and followed up with completing a Bachelor in Sociology at Southeast Missouri State University in 1972. After graduation, he joined the family business at Perryville Auto Supply, dedicating 53 years of service to our community.
Survivors include two daughters, Carissa (Robert W.) Reed of Honolulu, Hi, Heather (Jason) Marren of St. Charles; son, Ryan M. (Amy) Kutz of Gilbert, Ariz.; two brothers, Larry Kutz of Perryville, Mike (Mary) Kutz of Perryville; sister, Janice (Tony) Sweet of Cape Girardeau; 10 grandchildren, Braedyn, Addison, Carly, Robert C. and Cason Reed, Nicholas, Carter and Brady Marren, and Lyla and Abigail Kutz.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents.
His funeral service will be private for family only.
Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in Perryville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
