Robert “Bob” Wayne Hoffman, 68, of Perryville, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2025, at his home.
He was born August 20, 1956, in Perryville, to Gilbert “Gib” and Stella (Nething) Hoffman.
Bob and Elaine (Pohlmann) were married on March 25, 1978, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Friedheim.
He retired from Gilster MaryLee as an elevator operator and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Friedheim.
Survivors include his father, Gib; wife, Elaine; two sons, Joel (Mary Catherine Fetterhoff) Hoffman, Anthony “Tony” Hoffman; daughter, Stacey (Chris) Durlacher; two sisters, Patricia “Pat” Hoffman, Linda Hoffman; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Stella Nething; paternal and maternal grandparents, Gottlieb and Regina Nething, Edwin and Elva Weinrich and best friend, Jim Dunker.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville.
Visitation will continue from 9 to 9:50 a.m. on Monday, August 25, 2025, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Friedheim.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, August 25, 2025, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Friedheim, with Rev. Michael Winckler officiating.
Burial will be at Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery in Friedheim.
Memorial contributions may be given to Trinity Lutheran Fellowship Hall.
