Emma Mahnken (center) of St. Vincent High School is presented with one of two Richardet Family Scholarships from Jeff and Kathy (Richardet) Ploeger. The family of the late Hubert and Rita Richardet established an annual scholarship award to commemorate the more than 30 years efforts to help and bring awareness to special needs children and their families. Awards are given to a graduating senior from both St. Vincent and Perryville High Schools who plan to earn a degree in the fields of special needs, teaching, nursing, and social work.
