Pirates garner 15 I-55 All-Conference honors

The Perryville football team raised its win total by several games this year, and with that improvement the Pirates were bound to get some postseason recognition.
That’s exactly what happened this past week.
Perryville players earned 15 total I-55 Conference awards when they were recently released.
The Pirates had three first team honors as Dominic Seiler was honored as a tight end. Chase Richardet was first team returner and Drew Leuckel was named first team defensive end.

Seiler led the Pirates with 501yards receiving and two touchdowns on the season. Chase Richardet had three returns for touchdowns on special teams on the season to cement himself on the first team.
The Pirates had nine honors at second team led by center Mason Cochran, Richardet at wide receiver and defensive back, Leuckel at fullback and kicker, Caleb Triller on the defensive line, Kaleb Huber at inside linebacker, Kayd Luckey at defensive back and Ty Peeler at punter.
Richardet led the Pirates with five touchdown catches to go along with his 492 yards receiving. He also added 36 tackles and two interceptions on the defensive side. Leuckel rushed for 99 yards and three touchdowns and had 147 yards and 1 touchdown receiving. Triller had 41 total tackles with two sacks and one fumble recovery. Huber led the way defensively with 94 tackles, one sack, and two fumble recoveries. Luckey had 57 tackles, two fumble recoveries and one interception.
Perryville had three honorable mentions with quarterback Rilaynd Graham, Caleb Triller at Offensive tackle, and Gavin Hemman at defensive back. Graham threw for 1,241 yards, 12 touchdowns, and 13 interceptions. Hemman had 41 tackles with 1 interception.
Perryville went 4-6 this season, including 3-3 in the I-55 Conference
