On Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at approximately 1:50 pm Perryville Police Department officers were detailed to the 1000 block of North Main St. in reference to a vehicle versus pedestrian traffic collision.
Upon arriving on scene, officers determined that the incident was not a traffic collision, rather it was an assault with the vehicle used as the weapon.
The victim, a 29-year-old male, was transported by helicopter to a St. Louis area hospital with multiple injuries.
The suspect was identified as Kora M Wilhold, 26-year-old female of Perryville. Wilhold was arrested and charged with the following:
1. Domestic Assault 1st Degree with Serious Physical Injury, Class A Felony
2. Armed Criminal Action, Felony Unclassified
Wilhold is currently being held at the Perry County Jail on a no bond warrant pending trial.
