Perryville – Peoples Bank of Altenburg marked a significant milestone with the groundbreaking ceremony for its new Perryville branch held on the cold and blustery morning of March 19.
The event marked the beginning of construction for the bank's latest expansion, which Peoples Bank President Matt Puchbauer said was "aimed at better serving the Perryville community.”
The new branch at 750 South Perryville Road is expected to open in late summer 2025. It will provide a comprehensive range of services, including personal checking and savings accounts, home and personal loans, business banking, commercial lending, and agricultural lending solutions.
Expressing his enthusiasm about the expansion, President Puchbauer said, "We are excited to get started on the construction and can’t wait to be able to serve members of the Perryville community.”
