Patsy M. Kaempfe, 85, of Perryville, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2026, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
She was born January 10, 1941, in Knob Lick to Ernie and Rosa (Ditterline) Joy.
Patsy and Kenneth Kaempfe were married October 24, 1959, in Perryville. He preceded her in death on November 11, 2023.
She worked as an assistant deputy clerk at the Perry County Recorder of Deeds and the Assessor’s Office for more than 30 years.
Patsy was a member of the Mid-America Farm Toy Club along with her husband. They enjoyed attending farm toy shows across the Midwest.
She was also a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville.
Survivors include one son, Tim (Julie) Kaempfe of Ballwin; one daughter, Karen (Darell Hecht) Clifton of Frohna; five grandchildren, Kristen (Justin) Siemers of Cape Girardeau, Andrew (Brittney) Clifton of Murray, Kentucky, Madeline (Mason) Lonborg of Austin, Texas, Emma Kaempfe of Ballwin and Grace Kaempfe of Ballwin; and three great-grandchildren, Josephine Siemers, Ryleigh Jo Clifton and Kennedy Clifton.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Barbara Neislein, Ella Geile and Carol Wells; and two brothers, Billy R. Joy and Robert Joy.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, April 16, 2026, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 16, 2026, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville, with Rev. Joseph Schlie officiating.
Burial will be at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Perryville.
Memorial contributions may be given to Immanuel Lutheran School or Immanuel Lutheran Radio Broadcast Fund.
