To the Editor
Oh, Jason. Trust in our election process was never in doubt until your hero lost one. Yet, despite no evidence—not even a smidgen—you continue to simp for the guy who invented the lie and spoon-feed us propaganda. You and your party have not merely compromised your integrity, you’ve totally abandoned it.
In your 8/6/26 sermon, you’ve left out a lot of information about our voting process. One would think, if one is allowed, that you’re manipulating us yet again with your newspeak and agitprop. Most, if not all, of your GOP colleagues think we’re stupid and too lazy to do research (like those who won’t look up “newspeak” or “agitprop”), that we’d rather have someone tell us what to think rather than take the effort to do so ourselves. And one must appreciate the concerted effort of your loyal disciples to prove you right. The world could burn before they admit their error in judgement.
Allow me to dismantle your latest attempt to deliberately and purposefully spread misinformation, false ideas, rumors, half-truths, and outright lies to influence our opinion and shape the behavior of District Eight’s inhabitants.
Your misinformation: “Last week in New Jersey, it was disclosed that more than 6,000 non-citizens had been added to the state’s voter rolls.” Sounds ominous! Now for the truth: 6,600 noncitizens were added on the voter rolls through a software error at the Motor Vehicles Commission during the former governor’s administration. Around 400 noncitizens have voted in elections since 2023, or .0059 of a percent. If New Jersey’s voting line was a mile long, those 400 would make up less than 4 inches. The error has been corrected. The rate of in-person voter impersonation in federal elections is extremely low: only 0.00004% of all ballots cast. In that same measured mile, that’s about the thickness of a fingernail. You frighten easily. Unfortunately for the thinking citizens, gullible people do too.
Your statement “In cities like New York, non-citizens have been allowed to vote in city elections.” is false. Non-citizens are not allowed to vote in New York. Did you not know this or are you once again lying to us? That matters to folks who still believe that honesty is the best policy.
Let’s go off trail and look at how you manipulate us with your wording. Some examples: “Absolutely imperative,” “common sense,” “should be decided by American citizens,” “bedrock principles,” “Founders,” “everyday life.”
Then there’re the tried and true stand-by: illegals, non-citizens, and radical leftists. Oh, and you mention that Democrats in Congress cry and scream racism, that Senate Democrats stand in the way, block legislation, and put illegal immigrants before American citizens (you employed the word “America(n) nine times in your rant).
36 states already require an id to vote—Missouri, a photo id. The Election Clause in the US Constitution grants the States the “Manner of holding elections.” You took an oath to “support and defend the Constitution,” pledging allegiance to it. Keep your word.
