Marjorie Ann Turnbough, 84, of Perryville, passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at Mercy Hospital Southeast.
She was born December 17, 1940, in Prairie Du Rocher, Illinois, to Lonnie and Laura (Longlios) Dufrenne.
Marjorie and Kenneth Turnbough were married on October 7, 1967. He preceded her in death on September 22, 2022.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Crosstown.
Marjorie was a very independent woman. She enjoyed sewing, painting, cooking, and word search puzzles.
Survivors include son, Mark (Betty McIntyre) Turnbough of Jackson; two daughters, Robin (Darrell Voudrie) Hobeck of Perryville and Jennifer (Daniel) Will of Potosi; sister, Fern (Larry) Deterding of Prairie Du Rocher, Illinois; three grandchildren, Joshua Turnbough of Cartersvillle, Georgia, Dakota (Lauren) Voudrie of Perryville and MaKennah Will of Potosi; and one great-grandchild on the way.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, 14 brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville and will continue from 9 to 10 a.m. on Friday, April 4, 2025, at Zion Lutheran Church in Crosstown.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 4, 2025, at Zion Lutheran Church in Crosstown, with the Rev. John Hellwege officiating.
Burial will take place at Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery in Crosstown.
Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
