Lynn Patrick Hunt, 68 of Monroe, NC, formerly of Perryville, passed away Saturday, November 30, 2024.
He was born March 17, 1956, to the late Donald and Dorothy Hunt.
Lynn had a passion for being outdoors, fishing, working and spending time with his family. He worked in plaster for most of his younger years before retiring from the food distribution service as a foreman. His hard work ethic was unmatched even after retirement.
His sarcastic wit was one of the many things that drew people to him, along with his teasing grin.
Lynn is survived by his three children- Jason (Brandi), Ryan (Amanda) and Andrea; five grandchildren- Caitlyn, Ryker, Cora, Liam and Stella; two sisters, Linda Boxdorfer (Kenny) and Tina Beede.
A memorial service will be held privately at a later date.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Cooper Blazek and Union Family Practice, as well as Via Hospice, for the care they provided Lynn. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10306.
