Tyler Fritsche, 29, received serious injuries in a tractor accident that took place around noon Thursday, July 17 at 3773 PCR 300.
According to the Perry County Sheriff’s Office, Fritsche was attempting to start a tractor when it rolled over on him, causing severe injuries to his head and thigh.
After being treated by local EMS personnel, he was airlifted to St. Louis University Hospital, where he was treated for his injuries.
According to a post on Facebook, Fritsche’s family has set up a donation box at Rozier’s Grocery, located at 217 N Main St., to help cover the family's expenses during his recovery. Several fundraisers are reportedly also being planned.
