Ongoing efforts for transparency regarding negotiations between Perry County Memorial Hospital and a potential partner continue. The community’s largest employers seek answers from potential partners regarding the request for information process as it relates to the delivery of healthcare services in Perry County.

Leaders from Robinson Construction, Buchheit Enterprises, Gilster-Mary Lee Corp., TG Missouri, Rollet Brothers Trucking and Perry County School District No. 32 are planning to hold a public forum at 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 14 at the Robinson Event Center, located at 2411 Walters Lane in Perryville.

This meeting will be an opportunity for community and business leaders to hear from the top two potential partner candidates and ask questions about plans for a potential partnership with PCMH, according to Angela Swan, assistant to Frank Robinson of Robinson Construction.

SoutheastHEALTH and Mercy have both been invited. Ken Bateman, chief executive officer of SoutheastHEALTH has accepted an invite for the event, according to Swan.

Those with questions or seeking more information about this event are encouraged to contact Swan at aswan@rcco.com or call 573-517-5132.
