Larry is a 1965 graduate of Perryville High School and a 1970 graduate of the University of Missouri, St. Louis, with a degree in business administration. He also received a degree from Southeast Missouri State University in secondary business education.

Larry worked for six years as a system analyst for The Daughters of Charity in St. Louis, serving nine hospitals across six different states. Larry was a member of Calvary Church in Fredericktown, where he taught an adult Sunday school class for 37 years. He also served on the church board as a trustee.

Note… the above obituary was written by Larry (Dad). In his honor, it was shared exactly as he worded it. Of course, Dad lived a much fuller life and accomplished more than he wrote in his obituary. But when asked about it by Mom, he told her that writing more than this would just be “tootin’ my own horn.”

Survivors include his wife, Erma White; mother, Marie White-Lukefahr; two sons, Greg (Michele) White and Eric (Nikki) White; two brothers, Ray (Susan) White and Dennis (Vicki) White; and one sister, Rhonda (Hank) Lopez. He was preceded in death by his father, Stanley Arthur White.
