Larry Ray Sides, 80, of Perryville died Friday, January 27, 2023 at his residence
He was born January 16, 1943 in Perryville to James Lonnie and Viola Louise (Kiefer) Sides.
Larry and Sue Sarff were married February 7, 1970 at St. Mary’s Cathedral in Cape Girardeau.
He was the owner & operator of Short Stop Convenience Store & Gas Station.
He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
Larry enjoyed fishing, hunting and loved to read the newspaper.
Survivors include one sister, Wilma L. Sides; two brothers, Terry J. (Jackie) Sides of Phoenix, AZ, William “Bill” (Karen) Sides of Perryville; three brothers-in-law, John (Lillian) Wojcik of Fairview Heights, IL, John (Pam) Sarff of Chesterfield, Earl Forster of TN; one sister-in-law Sally Sarff of Perryville; nephews, John, David, Mark Forster, Robert, Tom, Michael Wojcik, Bryan Sarff, Carey Griffin; nieces, Kathy, Lisa Wojcik, Emily Hager, Leslie Traut, Lindsay Querry and many great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sue Sides; sister Lillian Wojcik; one sister-in-law JoEllen Forster.
Visitation was Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at Ford and Young Funeral Home in Perryville. Visitation was February 1, 2023 at Ford and Young Funeral Home.
Funeral Mass was Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville with the Fr. Ben Melaku C.M. officiating.
Burial was at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
Memorial contributions may be given to Liver Foundation, EWTN Catholic Network, American Diabetes Association or Masses.
