June Marie Leuckel, 91, of Perryville, passed away Saturday, Jan. 17, 2026, at her residence.

She was born Sept. 23, 1934, in Perry County, to Valle and Elva (Rabold) Huber.

June and Carl “Corky” R. Leuckel were married May 12, 1951, in Perryville. He preceded her in death on Sept. 15, 2015.

She worked as a self-employed beautician for more than 60 years. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville. June was the former president of the AMVETS Post 94 Auxiliary and was a member of many other local clubs and organizations. She enjoyed spending time dancing and caring for her flowers and plants.

Survivors include three sons, Carl “Topper” Ray Leuckel Jr., Paul Allen (Christy) Leuckel, and Jon “Jeff” Jeffrey (Tina) Leuckel; six grandchildren, Tammy (Patrick) Drury, Brad (Kelly Staggs) Leuckel, Scott Leuckel, Mark Leuckel, Robin (Bobby) Clifton, and Jewelia (Kyle Lappe) Leuckel; and 10 great-grandchildren, Lacey, Clayton, Caleb, Drew, Maecy, Jesse, Kash, Kane, Colt, and Emberlynn.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Dale Huber and Larry Huber; a sister, Patricia Huber; and a daughter-in-law, Mona Leuckel.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., with an AMVETS Auxiliary service at 6 p.m., Friday, Jan. 23, 2026, and from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, 2026, at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville.

Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, 2026, at Ford & Young Funeral Home, with Deacon John Darin officiating.

Burial will be in Home Cemetery in Perryville.

Memorial contributions may be made to Journey Hospice, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, or Shriners Children’s Hospital.
