JoAnn Jannin, 77, of Cape Girardeau, died Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026, at The Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born April 28, 1948, in Perryville to the late Joseph and Hermina Heisserer Hoeckele.
She and Dennis Jannin were married Nov. 7, 1981, in Perryville. He preceded her in death in 1992.
JoAnn was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and greatly enjoyed dancing and playing cards with friends.
Survivors include her daughter, Lana (Kyle) Kneezle of Cape Girardeau; two grandsons, Trevor and Brayden Kneezle; as well as multiple cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Silver Lake.
A graveside service will follow at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Cemetery in Silver Lake, with Deacon Direk Hunt officiating.
Burial will be at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Cemetery in Silver Lake.
