Jeffrey Lee Paulus, 46, of Perryville, died Sunday, November 23, 2025, in Perryville of natural causes.
He was born September 20, 1979, in Cape Girardeau to Russell “Rut” and Kathleen (Kirn) Paulus.
Jeff was a 1998 graduate of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic High School in Perryville and a 2002 graduate of the University of Missouri–St. Louis, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in finance. He was a dedicated volunteer at the Association of the Miraculous Medal in Perryville. He enjoyed cooking, nature, and spending time on his computer. Jeff was a kind, generous, and witty man, loved by everyone. He cherished time spent with his family. Jeff was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville.
Survivors include his parents; his sister, Jennifer Harris of Blue Springs; his brother, Jonathan (Autumn) Paulus of Perryville; his niece, Kennedy Harris; and his nephew, Jackson Harris.
Visitation was held from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday, November 30, 2025, at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville, and continued from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Monday, December 1, 2025, at the funeral home.
The Rosary was recited at 8:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass was held at 10 a.m. Monday, December 1, 2025, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville, with Rev. Tony Dosen, C.M., officiating.
Burial was at Mount Hope Cemetery in Perryville.
