Gerald Neal, 61, of Saint Mary, died Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at his home in St. Mary.
Gerald was born August 9, 1963, in St. Louis.
He married Lisa (Bolyard) Neal on September 16, 1986.
Gerald was a wonderful husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. He was a very talented painter and a Christian man.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa Neal of Saint Mary; three sons, Joshua Neal of Seattle, Wash., Matthew Neal of Saint Mary, and Nicholas (Madeleine Korn) Neal of Saint Mary; two brothers, Jimmy Neal of Jacksonville, Ark., and Jess Neal of Sheridan, Ark.; four sisters, Patty Neal of BeeBe, Ark, Tina (Lee) Watson of Guntown, Miss., Tammy (Tom) Papulo of Cottleville, and Therea (Glen) Belcher of Satisfaction, Miss. Gerald was preceded in death by his father, James Neal, and his mother, Catherine (Dunham) Neal.
Visitation will took place at Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 5, 2025, and 8 to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 6, 2025.
The service was held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ozora, on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at 10 a.m. The clergyman was Rev. Anthony Gerber.
