Erich Dean Stief, 55, of Perryville, passed away Sunday, Feb. 16, 2025, at his residence.
He was born Dec. 15, 1969, in St. Louis, to Fred Robert and Anne Maurine (Scott) Stief.
He and Sherry Anderson were married Oct. 23, 1993, in Perryville. She survives him in Perryville.
Erich was the owner of Stief Landscaping. He was a member of the Perryville Elks Lodge, Perry County Sportsman Club and Little Saline Sportsman Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and side by side riding. Erich was always the life of the party wherever he went. He loved being around friends and family.
Survivors include his wife; son, Collin Stief; and daughter, Kirsten Stief.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 23, 2025, at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville and will continue from 8 to 10 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 24, 2025, at the funeral home.
Funeral Service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 24, 2025, at Ford & Young Funeral Home with Rev. Christopher Seah officiating.
Burial will be at Arcadia Valley Memorial Park in Ironton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Missouri Disabled Sportsman.
