EF2 tornado carves path of destruction through Perryville

On the evening of Friday, March 14, and continuing into the early morning hours of Saturday, March 15, an EF2 tornado carved a path of destruction through Perryville. Homes, businesses, farms, and schools suffered extensive damage, ranging from minor impacts to total destruction. Fortunately, in contrast to other tornadoes that struck the state during the storm, there were no fatalities — for this, the city has every reason to feel immensely grateful.
