Doris M. Dauster, 80, of Perryville, being a child of God, passed away Friday, September 26, 2025, at Independence Care Center in Perryville.

She was born May 6, 1945, in Sereno, to Martin and Virgie (Gibbar) Reiss. Doris and Kenneth Dauster were married June 19, 1965, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Sereno. He preceded her in death on April 27, 2022.

She was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend. Doris enjoyed painting, ceramics, and playing bingo. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of Cape County Cowboy Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Beverly (Keith) Satterfield and Robin (Bill) Brickhaus; two sons, Duane Dauster and Jason (Lola) Dauster; twin sister, Dorothy Smith; two sisters, Shirley Tarrillion and June (Kim) Moore; two brothers-inlaw, John (Cheryl) Graff and Ronnie (Mara) Graff; two sistersin- law, Vanessa Ebner and Betty Reiss; 15 grandchildren, Drew (Cheyenne), Chase (Hailey), Landen (Megan), Logan (Heather), Dylan, Megan, Kaleb (Veronica), Austin (Megan), Nathan, Lola Nicole, Kaitlyn, Bradley (Courtney), Jordan (Cheyenne), Ashlyn (Dalton) and Lydia; 16 great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Grace, Astraea, Wrenlee Jo, Laci, Hunter, Lane, Jacob, Conner, Nia, Olivia, Zane, Killian, Nolen, Beckett, Cora and Alaina; and two others on the way. She was also preceded in death by her parents; six siblings, Martin (Hilda) Reiss Jr., Harold Reiss, Dale Reiss, Donald Reiss, Theresa (Mike) Sutterer and Norman (Joann) Reiss; and two brothers-in-law, Glen Smith and Mike Ebner.

Visitation was held from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville, and will continue from 8 to 10 a.m. Thursday, October 2, 2025, at the funeral home.

Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, October 2, 2025, at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville, with Bro. Jim Matthews officiating.

Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in Perryville.

Memorial contributions may be given to Cape County Cowboy Church.
