Delwain Meyr

Delwain Meyr, 57 of Friedheim passed away Sunday, February 5, 2023 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born December 4, 1965, in St. Louis, Missouri son of Dean and Delores Detjen Meyr.
Delwain was a 1985 graduate of Oak Ridge High School. He enjoyed farming from the time he was a kid and worked for Buchheits Central States Distributing for the last 24 years. He was an avid sports fan, cheering on the Kentucky Wildcats and the St. Louis Cardinals. He loved spending time with his family, who was near and dear to his heart.
Loving survivors include his parents, Delores and Dean Meyr of Friedheim; a son, Dustin (Janel) Meyr of Biehle; three sisters, Daphine (Bradley) Buerck of Biehle, Dawnelle (Jeremy) Zoellner of Jackson and Dericka (Mike) Newell of Friedheim; two grandchildren, Mabel and Blayne Meyr; niece and nephews, Chantil (Spencer) Bollinger, Calen (Liza) Buerck, Kyran and Kelby Newell, Brayden and Breslin Zoellner.

Also surviving are great niece and nephews; Kota, Knox and Klara Bollinger and Stetson Buerck.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson and after 9 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Friedheim.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, February 10, 2023 at Trinity Lutheran in Friedheim with the Rev. Jarod Koenig officiating.
The family suggests that contributions be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.
