She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and an auxiliary member of the Perryville Elks, the American Legion, and the Knights of Columbus. She was a friend to many and loved by all who met her. Carol loved spending time with her grandchildren and granddogs, visiting with family and friends, dancing, traveling, visiting casinos, taking cruises, and shopping for jewelry. Mostly, it was clear to everyone that Lester and Carol loved each other with a clarity and purity that is rare in this world. In her last days, Carol looked forward to rejoining Lester. They’re dancing now.
