Chandra Petot of Cape Girardeau, announces her engagement to Joshua Buell of Cape Girardeau.
Petot is the daughter of Melissa and Stan Harris of Perryville and Allan Petot of Perryville.
She is a 2010 graduate of Perryville High School. She went on to graduate from Southeast Hospital College of Nursing in 2014 with an Associates of Science in Nursing. She also graduated from Central Methodist University in 2019 with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. She completed her Masters in Science of Nursing/ Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from Maryville in 2023. She is currently employed as a NICU Registered Nurse at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital.
Buell is the son of Jeannie and Marc Scheffel of Jackson, and John Jr. and Nancy Buell of Benton. He is a 2007 graduate of Jackson High School and a 2012 graduate of Southeast College with a Bachelors of Science in Biology w/ emphasis in Biomedical Science and a minor in Chemistry. He went on to ATSU- College of Health Sciences and graduated in 2016 with a Master of Science in Biomedical Science, and graduated in 2020 from ATSU- Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine as a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at St. Bernard’s Medical Center in 2023.
He is currently employted as an Internal Medicine Lead Hospitalist with Southeast of Mercy.
The couple have a wedding set for March 2 at Knollcrest in Burfordville, Mo.
