Artie Mae Brewer, 87, of Perryville, passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at Mercy Hospital South.
She was born December 19, 1938, in Friedheim, to Avery Lee and Alice Edna (Hanners) Drum.
Artie was married to Edward J. Zoellner on April 19, 1961, at St. Maurus Catholic Church in Biehle. He preceded her in death on May 4, 1978.
She began her working career at Jackson Hosiery in Jackson and later retired after 25 years as a supervisor at Lenco Welding Supplies in Jackson.
Artie was a member of St. Maurus Catholic Church in Biehle and the American Legion Post No. 133 Auxiliary.
She enjoyed working in her flower garden and going antiquing, and she especially loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include her children, Wanda (Dana) Spurlock of Jonesboro, Illinois, Allen Zoellner of Friedheim, and Trudy (Fred) Wright of Perryville; stepchildren, David Dior of Columbus, Georgia, Thomas (Liz) Brewer of Greentown, Indiana, Lisa (Greg) Smith of Perryville, Lynnette (Mark) Berkbuegler of Perryville, and Julie (Jon) Lanier of Perryville; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; and 13 step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Edward J. Zoellner; her second husband, Dale D. Turner; her third husband, Thomas S. Brewer; and two brothers, Ralph Drum and Elbert Drum.
Visitation was held from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday, February 8, 2026, at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville and continued from 8 to 9:20 a.m. Monday, February 9, 2026, at the funeral home.
A funeral Mass was held at 10 a.m. Monday, February 9, 2026, at St. Maurus Catholic Church in Biehle, with Rev. Michael Benz officiating.
Burial followed at St. Maurus Catholic Cemetery in Biehle.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the Leukemia Association.
