Arleen Mildred Hansen, 92, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 25th, at Independence Care Center in Perryville.
She was born Oct. 10th, 1931, in Altenburg to Paul and Bertha (Kutscher) Oehlert.
Arleen and Marvin were married November 17, 1951, in Altenburg. They were blessed with 67 years of marriage. He preceded her in death on June 26, 2018.
She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of Perryville and a member of LWML. Arleen worked as an accountant for Perry County Memorial Hospital for 35 years. She enjoyed reading, cooking, and baking and also loved plants, flowers, and all animals.
Survivors include three children, Mira (Roger) Tucker, Kerry (Michelle) Hansen, and Kerby Hansen; three grandchildren, Brandon (Cynthia) Tucker of Chula Vista, Calif., Jonathan (Kelly) Tucker of Oak Ridge, and Tyler Hansen of Perryville; two great-grandchildren Dahlia Tucker of Chula Vista, Calif., and Alyss Tucker of Oak Ridge; a sister, Paula (Elroy) Heimsoth of Poplar Bluff. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Visitation was held Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2024, at Ford and Young Funeral Home. A Funeral Service was held Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2024 with Pastor Marks officiating. Burial was at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Perryville.
Memorial Contributions may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Radio Broadcast on KFUO radio station.
Ford & Young Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
