To the citizens of District 32: As a retired business owner who worked in the construction sector for more than 40 years, I am proud to express my full support for Proposition KIDS in Perryville.
Throughout those 40-plus years of working for many businesses, industries and individuals, I would discuss with them what was important to being successful in this community. The answer I heard most often was having the best people with the proper knowledge and skills in their business and community.
Businesses, industries and homeowners look at the strength of a community’s school system. A strong school system will lead to a strong workforce. This will help ensure our businesses and industries stay successful and competitive for growth and development.
Our community has an opportunity to continue providing our future workforce with a place to learn skills. Proposition KIDS is a continued commitment to our children. Previous generations voted for your success in education. Now is the time to vote yes for the successful education of future generations.
I encourage all citizens to support this investment in our children’s future.
