Valle Catholic rallies to take down St. Vincent

St. Vincent had their chances, but the Warriors proved too much. St. Vincent took the first set, but Valle Catholic regrouped and rallied for the next three as they handed the Indians a defeat in four sets 26-24, 23-25, 20-25, 16-25.
The Indians led for almost all of the first set outside of the first point as the Indians took advantage of several errors by the Warriors.
The Indians built as much as a four point lead, but as probably customary for the Warriors they made a comeback tying the set at 23-23 and even took a lead at 24-23 after a kill by Ella Bertram to force an Indians timeout.

Although the timeout helped as the Indians got back-to-back kills from Macy Lukefahr and Emersyn Pitts. The Warriors had a net violation to give the Indians the victory in the set. That momentum carried into the second set as the Indians once again took a10-9 lead after a kill by Mollie Dobbelare. That lead held up and even increased to five points at 21-16 after a kill by Carleigh Grim. The Indians would win just two more points in the set on a two hit violation by the Warriors.
Valle won the final six points as a kill by Bertram gave the Valle the set and tied the match at one apiece.
That was all the momentum that Valle would need as they won each of the next two sets by an increasing margin.
