Tucker, Kiefer exchange vows

Mandy Sue Tucker and Kurt Paul Kiefer, both of Perryville, exchanged wedding vows at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Perryville, on Nov. 16, 2019. Pastor Matthew Marks performed the double ring ceremony. Soloist was Rachel Sedgwick, friend of the bride. Music was provided by Nathan Steele. The church wedding coordinator was Alicia Steele.
The bride is the daughter of Rodney and Linda Tucker of Old Appleton. The groom is the son of Ray and Kimberly Kiefer of Perryville. The bride was given in marriage by her father, Rodney Tucker. Serving as her best man was the bride’s brother, Joey Tucker. Maid of honor was Rachel Sedgwick, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Olivia Riley, Whitney Miller, and Suzie Owen, friends of the bride; and Elizabeth Kiefer, cousin of the groom. Serving as the groom’s matron of honor was his sister, Shannon Miesner. Best man was Stanley Miesner. Groomsmen were Tate Kiefer and Chad Kiefer, cousins of the groom; Dan Johnson, friend of the bride; and Brian Besand, cousin of the groom. Ushers were Trent Kiefer, cousin of the groom; and Steve Ehlers, godfather and cousin of the bride.

Flower girl was Klaire Miesner, goddaughter and niece of the groom. Ring Bearer was Mason Ehlers, godson and cousin of the bride. Candlelighters were Tina Vernon, godmother and aunt of the bride; and Beckie Besand, godmother and aunt of the groom. Program and Guest Book Attendants were Marissa Ehlers, cousin of the bride; and Anna Besand, cousin of the groom.
Later that evening, a reception and dance was held at The American Legion in Perryville. Cake cutters were Tina Vernon and Beckie Besand, aunts and godmothers of the bride and groom, respectively.
A rehearsal meal was hosted by the bride and groom the previous evening at the church fellowship hall. The bride is employed as a Community Support Caseworker with Community Counseling Center in Perryville. The groom is employed as a Part Sales Representative at Sydenstricker Nobbe Partners in Scott City. The couple is making their home near Perryville.
