Trevor C. Arathoon

Trevor Charles Arathoon was born in India on Oct. 6, 1946. He was orphaned at a young age and attended a boarding school in Mumbai. Within just a few years, he contracted Leprosy and was sent to London, England for treatment.
After two years of treatments, he was released, homeless and had to make his own start. After several years there, he met Lindy Marie, the love of his life, and was married to her in 1978.

Shortly after, they had Bettina and moved to the United States. Trevor loved spending time with his family first and foremost and was the world’s best daddy and Papa. He loved creating English style gardens, fishing, rabbit hunting, nature, and above all his family and being a good friend to all. He leaves behind survivors a daughter and son-in-law Bettina and Andy Comstock, grandchildren Amari Moore, Treven Comstock, Adam Comstock and Alex Comstock, and Lilly Ormston. He also leaves behind in England Jason Knight and Louise Ormston, two children from his first marriage.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, two brothers Peter and Derek, and his wife and lifelong companion Linda Marie Doerschlen. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Sept. 25, 2021, at The Elks Hall in Perryville. Visiting hours will be from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Traditional English foods will be provided for sampling. A limited open bar will be available.
