Police officers are our fellow citizens. They live in our cities, go to our churches, have families, and their children attend our schools. They are our friends and neighbors. But they are much more! They are the best of us, deserving our utmost respect. They place themselves between us and harms way, running toward the gun fire not away, risking their personal safety for our safety. They are our peace and security in the face of mob rule and chaos. Thank a police officer for their service to us every time you see them.
