Stanley Buchheit, 85, of Sainte Genevieve, died Thursday, Sept. 15, 2022 at Ste. Genevieve Care Center.
He was born July 27, 1937 in Longtown,
He married Rita (Ringwald) Buchheit on Nov. 5, 1966
He is survived by: wife, Rita Buchheit of Ste. Genevieve; son, Curt Buchheit of Cape Girardeau; daughter, Sue Buchheit (Phil Rizzio) of Peru, Ind.; four sisters, Eleanor Unterreiner of Perryville, Penny Ruessler of Perryville, Marcella (Richard) Renner of Perryville, Rosella (David) Bohnert of Perryville; Brother, Glennon (Carol) Buchheit of Perryville; sister-in-law, Ginger Ringwald of Sainte Genevieve; grandchildren, Seth, Allison, Sydney, Kate Buchheit and Eras Foerstel
He was preceded in death by: father, Isidore W. Buchheit; mother, Hilda (Leible) Buchheit; brother-in-law, Matt Ringwald
He was a member of Knights of Columbus 1037 and Ste. Genevieve Catholic Church. Stanley loved working on the farm, spending time outdoors, hunting and fishing. Most of all he loved to spend time with his family.
