Roger J. Schremp

Roger J. Schremp, 65, of Perryville, died Tuesday, Nov.9, 2021 at Perry County Memorial Hospital.
He was born Nov. 11, 1955 in St. Louis, to Lester Schremp and Ruth (Welland) Schremp.
He and Nancy (Lix) Schremp were married Sept. 10, 1983 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville.
Roger enjoyed deer hunting and loved spending time with his family. He was very hard working as a farmer and heavy equipment operator. He was a member of the Catholic faith and Welfare Fund of Engineers Local #513.
Survivors include his wife, two daughters, Christina Schremp, Kelsey (Jason) Thieret; two grandchildren, Austin and Aiden Thieret; cousin, Judi (Kirk Pinson) Arnold; brother-in-law, Mark (Dorothy) Lix; four sister-in-laws, Susan (Ray) White, Peggy Keliher, Judy (Kenny) Hoehn, Debbie (Keith) McCrary; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, Tom Keliher; father and mother-in-law, Louis and Metta Lix, Jr.

Visitation will be 4-8 pm on Friday, Nov. 12, 2021 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville. Visitation will continue on Saturday Nov. 13, 2021 from 8-9:40 a.m. at Ford & Young Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov.r 13, 2021 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville.
Burial will follow at Yount Community Cemetery in Perryville.
Memorial contributions may be given to American Diabetes Association, Alzheimers Association, or charity of choice.
