This month, I would like to recognize our office staff, including executive assistant Renee Lottes, our volunteers, Sharon Renaud, Kathy Moll and student Brett Baker. Thank you all for your service to the Chamber. Business After Hours are still available for July 2, August 6 and November 5. Call and reserve your date today. Leadership Perryville 2020 will begin on March 17. If you are not yet registered, call the office today. It is a great learning experience for all employees. It is one day a month from March to September with graduation in October. Our next Coffee and Connections will be April 14. This is a great opportunity to network and to host. Power Hours are held on the second Tuesday every other month beginning March 10. You must register for this event. Watch your e-mails and the Chamber Facebook page for information. Events coming up with the Chamber include our spring membership meeting set for April 23 at Robinson Event Center. This meeting includes Casino Night. Have fun playing games, winning prizes and enjoying dinner. “A Salute to Our Hometown Heroes” is this year’s 35th annual Mayfest theme, presented by The Bank of Missouri and sponsored by many of our dedicated Chamber members. Follow us on the Mayfest Facebook page. Our Xquisite Women’s Leadership Conference will be Sept. 17-18. We have just announced our first speaker on our Xquisite Women’s Conference Facebook page. Stay tuned as we announce the rest of our lineup. Early bird registrations are open now. Say hello to the Chamber Benefit Plan, a multiple employer welfare arrangement (MEWA) designed for small businesses who are members of a qualified Chamber of Commerce, like ours. It offers a medical plan that lets small businesses join together for more plan options and lower rates. Call the Chamber office today for more details. Not a Chamber member? This is a great time to join and begin networking, building your business and serving your community. Call me today or stop by the office for information. Jackie Wengert is the executive director of the Perryville Chamber of Commerce. She may be reached at 573-547-6062 or by email at jackie@perryvillemo.com.
