Phyllis S. Oswald, 79, passed away Thursday, Dec. 30, 2021 at her home in Woodson Terrace.
She was born Feb. 27, 1942 in Perryville to Chalmer J. and Leneta (Winkler) Oster.
Phyllis and Bernhard “Ben” W. Oswald were married on July 25, 1959 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville.
Phyllis was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in St. Ann. She was a Registered Nurse at Christian Northeast Hospital in St. Louis. She enjoyed working in her flower and vegetable gardens and going camping.
Survivors include two sons, Keith (Marilyn) Oswald of Lake St. Louis, Scott Oswald of Woodson Terrace; brother, Kenneth (Delores) Oster of St. Mary; four grandchildren, Brandon, Justin, Margaret, and Nicholas Oswald.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Visitation and funeral service will be private. Burial will be at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Perryville.
