PHS Class of 2021 graduates receive scholarships

Perryville High School recently graduated 153 students on May 21. Out of those students, 47 of them received scholarships from universities and technical schools, while two will go into the military.
Chloe C. Anschultz—The Perry County Teachers Association Scholarship, the Robert and Olene Heflin Scholarship, the TG Missouri Scholarship, and the Missouri LASE scholarship.
Jada N. Ayars­—The Future Alumni Scholarship, Groundbreaker Scholarship, the Missouri Scholarship and Loan Foundation’s Access Extra scholarship and the Kummer Vanguard scholarship from Missouri University of Science and Technology, the Shelter Insurance Scholarship, the Rotary Club Scholarship, the Morton Deutch Minor scholarship, and the William and Arlene James scholarship.
Samuel J. Bachmann—The Kenneth L. Hoehn Memorial and First State Community Bank scholarship and the Stephen A. Koeln Memorial Scholarship.
Taylor P. Barnett—The Friends of Education Scholarship and the Traction Scholarship.

Sidney K. Buerck—The Saints Scholarship and the Lee Family scholarship through Maryville, the Perry County Memorial Hospital scholarship, the Perry/ Ste. Genevieve County Medical Society scholarship, and the D.E.F.Y. scholarship through the Community Task Force.

Evan L. Daugherty—The Hilltop Distinguished Scholar scholarship and an athletic scholarship for football from Culver-Stockton College, the Perryville Athletic Club Scholarship. the recipient of the Coach Pickle Male Athlete of the Year Award.
Alexis M. Davis—The Frank Robinson Construction Endowed Scholarship from Mineral Area College.
