The local TOPS 547 support group recently elected and installed new officers for the 2024-2025 year. They are Leader Erline Welker, Co-leader Sharon
Isreal, Secretary Selah Moore, Treasurer Karen Ernst and Weight Recorder Celesta Kiefer.
The puzzle themed installation was conducted by Joann Hemingway.
TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) is a nonprofit weight-loss education and support organization with a philosophy that combines healthy eating, regular exercise, wellness education, and support from others at weekly chapter meetings.
Games, contests, and incentive awards help keep members motivated and goal oriented.
The organization has a low membership fee that includes a colorful and informative national magazine.
Anyone is welcome to join the local group that meets from 5 to 6 p.m. Tuesdays at the Senior/Community Center.
