District 32 schools will be closed to students tomorrow, Friday, Jan. 29, due to county road conditions, but they will have school next Wednesday, Feb. 3 when they were scheduled to be off.
As always, we have consulted with our county road department and MoDOT, and checked roads ourselves. Several county roads in the eastern and western portions of the county are still dangerous due to shading from large trees that line them," said PCSD No. 32 superintendent Andy Comstock. "Thankfully, we now have the capability to provide remote instruction on such days. All students will receive instruction tomorrow through their school’s distance-learning platform, just as they did yesterday and today."
Teachers will again be responsive to emails until 3 p.m.

Parents can access the Snow Day Instruction Plans for all buildings at https://5il.co/nu16. In general, parents of students at the primary center should visit Seesaw for assignments, and all other students should visit Google Classroom.
Adventure Club will be available for normal hours to students who were scheduled to attend next Wednesday.
Staff members will be on campus working collaboratively just as they would be next Wednesday.
Collaboration time is when teachers examine individual student skills assessments to identify areas where students are struggling, and then plan for re-teaching or other intervention measures to close any achievement gaps.
"Winter weather can throw us some curveballs and the forecasts never quite turn out the way we expect," Comstock said. "I appreciate your patience and support as we make these schedule changes to keep our kids safe and maximize the time they spend in the classroom. I know this is a departure from our current schedule, but having two days of distance learning instead of just one is worth making this change."
