St. Vincent seniors and multisport athletes Allie Patrick and Nick Buchehit were named the 2024-25 Athletes of the Year during the school’s annual sports banquet held May 15.
The school presented individual awards in nine different categories across all athletic activities.
In football, those honored were Ethan Finger, Freshman 110%; Quinton Doza, Sophomore 110%; Carson house, Junior 110%; Cruz Reitzel, Senior 110%; Austin Sleyster, Varsity Scholar Athlete; Layton Cheaney, JV Scholar Athlete; Boston Tarrillion, Offensive Lineman of the Year; James Unterreiner, Defensive Lineman of the Year; Clayton Gremaud, Special Teams Player of the Year; Eli Abernathy, Heart of the T.R.I.B.E, Nick Buchheit, Offense MVP; and John Schwartz, Defense MVP.
In cross country, honorees were Ethan Hotop, Boys Pace Award; Luke Ryan, Boys Pass Award; Carter Hennemann, Boys Push Award; Abby Kirn, Girls Pace Award; Audrey Amschler, Girls Pass Award; Reagan Meyer, Girls Push Award; Bo Burgin, Boys Scholar Athlete; and Amschler, Girls Scholar Athlete.
For cheerleading, those honored were Callie Clements, All-Around Cheerleader; Jenna Unterreiner, Most Improved; Kennedy Sutterer, Most Dedicated; Brigid Sauer, Best Catch; Reagan Varedy, Coach’s Award; and Unterreiner, Scholar Athlete.
Volleyball players earning honors were Patrick, Varsity Scholar Athlete; Aubrey Emmendorfer, JV Scholar Athlete; Brie Rubel, Best Server; Kate Rubel, Best Receiver; Brie Rubel, Lauren Light, Haley Emmendorfer, and Samantha Taylor, Best Setters; Kate Rubel, Best Hitter; Sauer, Best Blocker; Brie Rubel, Best Digger; Kaitlyn Buerck and Mallory Patrick, Glue; Brie Rubel, Varsity MVP; Paige Leible, JV 110%; Ava Gremaud, JV Sportsmanship; Addie Gremaud, JV Most Improved; Olivia Winkler, Freshman 110%; Brynn Renner, Freshman Sportsmanship; and Sara Unterreiner, Freshman Most Improved.
For boys basketball, those honored were Colden Prost, Varsity Scholar Athlete; Cain Clifton, JV Scholar Athlete and JV 110%; Braxton Lauder, JV Most Improved Player; Max Wheeler, Varsity Best Offensive Player; Colden Prost, Varsity Best Defensive Player; and Wyatt Winkler, Varsity Indian Award.
For the girls basketball team, honorees were Sophie Verseman, JV Ms. Rebound Award; Aubrey Emmendorfer, JV 110% Award; Paige Leible, JV Miss Versatility; Olivia Winkler, Freshman Miss Versatility; Alivia Ellis, Varsity Most Improved; Rylee Robinson, Varsity Co-Defensive Player Of The Year, Haley Emmendorfer, Varsity Co-Defensive Player Of The Year, Comeback Player Of The Year and Varsity Leadership Award; Allie Patrick, Varsity Comeback Player Of The Year; Lana Adams, Varsity Comeback Player Of The Year and Toughness Award; Mallory Patrick, Varsity Toughness Player Of The Year; Kate Rubel, Varsity Leading Rebounder and Most Blocks; Brie Rubel, Varsity Assists Leader and Most Steals; Mallory Patrick, Varsity All-Time Career Rebound Leader; Allie Patrick, Varsity All-Time Career Three-Point Leader; Mallory Patrick and Allie Patrick, Varsity Academic All-State; Aubrey Emmendorfer, JV Scholar Athlete; and Allie Patrick, Varsity Scholar Athlete.
