The Republic-Monitor welcomes Advertising Sales Manager Natalie Rush to our staff. She is looking forward to meeting the advertising needs of our clients by paving the way for their ads to appear in a newspaper and on all online platforms that have proudly served Perry County since the year 1889.

Rush is well-acquainted with the community, having been born and raised in Perry County.

“I have a long history of working in marketing and sales,” she said. “I took on this new position with the Republic Monitor to build up the newspaper’s advertising and sales section to better meet the needs of our local businesses.”

Rush and Sales Executive Laurie Lagrone are ready to customize your advertising if it will help you be more successful.

“We like to customize ads for the needs of our customers,” Rush said. “It doesn't matter how small or large your company is. It doesn't matter if you started your business yesterday or if you've been in business for 200 years. We can find the best possible fit for you, whether it be our special promotions or a special package designed for your needs.

“We have a great in-house graphic design artist. We can build our ads from the ground up, and we can also help customers reach more than 30,000 people in Perry County, as well as our surrounding counties. You offer you the opportunity to reach more customers by just putting your trust in us and letting us help you to get your message out there.”

The Republic-Monitor works with businesses to make sure advertisements appear in a timely manner that will give you the best bang for your buck. Once an advertisement has been designed, clients are given time to proof it so that any needed changes can be made prior to deadlines.

“Nothing is published without first receiving the advertiser’s approval,” Rush said. “Give us a chance to help you. We have a lot of wonderful people on staff. Laurie and I make a great team because we are very like-minded. We love and thrive on growth — for ourselves and also for our community.

"Our desire is to help all the businesses we possibly can, in any way we can. Our paper is open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, and we are very happy to meet with our clients after hours if needed. If needed, we’ll take your call after hours. We're always available. Nothing makes us happier than to earn the community’s trust and give us a chance to grow with you.”
