The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to two one-vehicle injury accidents occurring last week in Perry County.
The patrol reports that the first, which took place at 10:45 p.m. July 26 on Route M, east of Highway 612, involved an eastbound 200 Dodge Ram pickup driven by Lana J. Deere, 40, of Perryville. The pickup traveled off the south side of the roadway and struck a utility pole before overturning.
The driver, who was reportedly wearing a seat belt when the wreck took place, was transported by Mercy Perry Ambulance to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, where she was treated for moderate injuries.
The pickup, which received extensive damage, was removed from the scene by Perry County Towing.
The second, a one-car accident that occurred at 4:15 p.m. July 27 on Interstate 55 at the 128.4-mile marker in Perry County, resulted in moderate injuries for an O’Fallon woman.
According to the patrol, the wreck took place when a northbound 2020 Ford Edge driven by Denya L. Thurston, 65, of O’Fallon, traveled off the right side of the roadway and collided with the embankment.
The driver, who was reportedly wearing a seat belt when the collision occurred, was transported by Mercy Perry Ambulance Service to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
The car, which received extensive damage, was removed from the scene by Perry County Towing.
Arrest
Michelle L. Robbins, 48, of Perryville, was arrested at 5:53 p.m. July 25 in Stoddard County on a misdemeanor warrant issued by the Gideon Police Department for failure to appear on a registration violation. Robbins was transported to the Stoddard County Sheriff’s Office, where she was listed as “bondable.”
