Around 200 runners and walkers took part in the Mayfest 5K Run/Walk held May 10 under sunny skies at Perry Center. Once the race began, the participants made their way around the course at varying speeds. The race was sponsored by First State Community Bank.

The first male runner to cross the finish line was 41-year-old Marcus LeGrand, who completed the race with a time of 18:34.

The first remale runner, 40-year-old Julie Bullin, finished with a time of 23:08.
