Mary Jane Buchheit, 97, of Perryville died Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at Independence Care Center of Perry County.
She was born Nov. 16, 1924 in Portage Des Sioux, Mo. to Jacob and Mary (Martineau) Rees.
Mary and Glennon A. Buchheit were married May 6, 1972. He Preceded her in death Dec. 22, 2009.
She was Quality Control Specialist for P&G and a member of United Methodist Church.
Survivors include five sons, William J. (Shirley) French of Perryville, Richard W. (Kathy) French of Perryville, Kenneth L.(Cindy) French of Afton, Thomas D. (Christine) French of Ozora, Michael D. (Leslie) French of Frohna; one daughter, Laura J. (Kent) Luckey of Altenburg; 20 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, William T. French; four brothers, Louis Rees, Sam Rees, Jacob Rees, Eugene Rees; one sister, Bertha Pilkington; one infant son and one infant grandson.
