Martin P. Oswald

Martin Paul “Marty” Oswald, 82, of Ferguson, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2021 at DePaul Hospital in Bridgeton, Missouri.
He was born Nov. 2, 1938 in Friedenberg to the late Martin L. and Ruth (Mueller) Oswald.
He and Kristina Feldman were married June 8, 1968 in Friedenberg, Missouri.
Marty was a 1956 graduate of Perryville High School and a 1960 graduate of Southeast Missouri State Missouri State University. He was an engineer for Boeing. Marty was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and several historical societies.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Kristina; son, Paul M. (Angie) Oswald; step-sisters, Mary (Heimbaugh) Hanssen and Martha Himbaugh; one grandchild, Ravyn Williams.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Louis J. and Charles H. Oswald.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 26, 2021 from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Ford and Young Perryville Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Monday, September 27, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church with Rev. Matthew Marks officiating with visitation one hour prior to the service.
Burial will follow at Friedenberg Peace Lutheran Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be given to Concordia Historical Institute, Friedenberg Historical Society, Immanuel Lutheran Church, Perryville or Zion Lutheran Church, Ferguson.
